How to make a polymer clay bauble ornament
A Christmas bauble that can really go on the tree after baking.

What you need
Clay in these colours
- Red
- White
- Yellow
- Sculpting tools from the kit
- An electric oven and baking paper. An adult does the baking.
Step by step

Roll a red ball.

Roll thin white strands, all the same length.

Lay a few strands over the ball so they cross on top. Press them on gently.

Lay the other strands in between and press them on.

Roll a small yellow ball.

Press the small ball flat into a thick little cap.

Press the cap in place on top of the ball.

Twist a small screw eye into the cap. Done!
Tip
Make a few in different colours while you’re at it.
An adult does the baking
- 110–130 °C, never higher
- 10–15 minutes per 6 mm of thickness
- Electric oven only
