Baking & safe use
Polymer clay is oven-bake clay: your creations harden in the oven. Here's how to do it right.
- in a preheated electric oven

- baking time per 6 mm of thickness

- Preheat the oven and never bake above 130 °C.
- Bake on baking paper, a ceramic tile or aluminium foil, not directly on the metal tray.
- Only a regular electric oven: no air fryer, never a microwave.
- Let it cool slowly, not in cold water. The clay is only fully hard once it has cooled.
- An adult does the oven work. Ventilate the room while baking.
- Not suitable for children under 3 (small parts). Don't put clay in your mouth and wash your hands afterwards.

How it works
- 1Pick an idea to make, for example from the free idea book.
- 2Knead the clay until soft and sculpt your creation on the work mat.
- 3An adult bakes it in a preheated electric oven (110–130 °C).
- 4Let it cool slowly: only then is your creation fully hard.

The Polymer Clay Kit is recommended from age 8, with adult supervision. It is not suitable for children under 3, as it contains small parts (choking hazard). An adult always does the baking in the oven.
In the kit you'll find: 82 colours of polymer clay (20 g each), storage box with handle, work mat, acrylic roller, 5 sculpting tools, detail tools, keyrings & cords, screw eyes & beads. You'll also need a regular electric oven, plus baking paper, a ceramic tile or aluminium foil to bake your creations on. These are not included.
No. Polymer clay is oven-bake clay: it hardens in the oven, not in the air. So you can take your time over a creation and bake it once it's finished.
Preheat the oven to 110–130 °C and never go above 130 °C. Allow 10–15 minutes per 6 mm of thickness: the thicker your creation, the longer it bakes. Place your creations on baking paper, a ceramic tile or aluminium foil, not directly on the metal baking tray. Then let them cool slowly on a heat-resistant surface, not in cold water. The clay only becomes fully hard once it has cooled, so don't bend your creation before then. Ventilate the room while baking; an adult does the oven work.

Shipping is € 4.95 in the Netherlands, € 6.95 in Belgium and Germany and € 7.95 in France, and free everywhere from € 26.95.
