How to make a polymer clay friendly monster
A little monster with one big eye: choose your own favourite colour.

What you need
Clay in these colours
- Turquoise
- Yellow
- White
- Black
- Sculpting tools from the kit
- An electric oven and baking paper. An adult does the baking.
Step by step
Roll a big turquoise ball for the body.
Make the ball a little longer and press the bottom flat.
Roll two yellow horns, two turquoise arms and two turquoise feet.
Press the horns on top, the arms on the sides and the feet at the bottom.
Roll a white ball and a smaller black ball for the eye.
Press the white ball flat onto the body and the black ball flat on top of it.
Roll a thin black strand and two small white teeth.
Press the strand on as a smile, with the teeth underneath. Done!
Tip
No monster is wrong: why not try three eyes or four horns?
An adult does the baking
- 110–130 °C, never higher
- 10–15 minutes per 6 mm of thickness
- Electric oven only
