How to make a polymer clay mini burger
A burger with tomato, cheese, lettuce and sesame seeds, built layer by layer (also on video in the Academy).

What you need
Clay in these colours
- Beige
- Red
- Brown
- Yellow
- Green
- White
- Sculpting tools from the kit
- An electric oven and baking paper. An adult does the baking.
Step by step

Roll two beige balls of the same size for the bun.

Press one ball completely flat and the other just a little bit.

Press a small red ball flat and put the tomato on the flat bottom bun.

Press a brown ball flat and put the patty on the tomato.

Cut a thin yellow square and put the cheese on the patty.

Press green clay flat, make the edge wavy and put the lettuce on top.

Put the rounded top on the lettuce and press it on gently.

Press small white sesame seeds onto the bun. Done!
Tip
Make each layer about as wide as the bun and press it on gently, so the burger stays standing straight.
An adult does the baking
- 110–130 °C, never higher
- 10–15 minutes per 6 mm of thickness
- Electric oven only
