What you need

Clay in these colours

  • Light brown
  • White
  • Black
  • Pink
  • Sculpting tools from the kit
  • An electric oven and baking paper. An adult does the baking.

Step by step

  1. Make a thick light brown roll and stand it upright for the cup.

  2. Make the bottom a little narrower, so it looks like a cup.

  3. Roll six small black balls for the pearls.

  4. Press the pearls onto the front of the cup, at the bottom.

  5. Press a white ball flat into a lid and press it on top.

  6. Roll a pink stick for the straw.

  7. Push the straw upright into the lid and press it in place.

  8. Press black eyes, a black mouth and pink cheeks onto the cup. Done!

Tip

Press the pearls halfway into the clay, so you can see them clearly.
