What you need

Clay in these colours

  • Red
  • Light yellow
  • White
  • Sculpting tools from the kit
  • An electric oven and baking paper. An adult does the baking.

Step by step

  1. Roll a red ball and shape it into a block that is wider at the top.

  2. Use your thumb to press a deep hollow into it.

  3. Push the top edge down a little in the middle at the front and back.

  4. Roll light yellow clay flat and cut long and short thick strips from it.

  5. Stand the long fries upright at the back of the tray.

  6. Put the short fries at the front of the tray.

  7. Roll a small white ball and twist it into a little swirl with a point.

  8. Press the mayonnaise on top of the fries. Done!

Tip

Cut the fries a little thicker than you think, so they won’t break.
