How to make a polymer clay crown
A little golden crown with gems, for King’s Day or a party.

What you need
Clay in these colours
- Yellow
- Red
- Blue
- Sculpting tools from the kit
- An electric oven and baking paper. An adult does the baking.
Step by step

Roll yellow clay flat with the roller.

Cut a long, wide strip with the cutting tool.

Cut three points into the top of the strip.

Bend the strip upright into a circle.

Press the ends firmly together.

Roll four small red balls and two small blue balls.

Press two blue balls and one red ball flat onto the band.

Press a small red ball onto each point. Done!
Tip
Stand the crown upright on the baking paper so it keeps its shape.
An adult does the baking
- 110–130 °C, never higher
- 10–15 minutes per 6 mm of thickness
- Electric oven only
