How to make a polymer clay oliebol
An oliebol with raisins and icing sugar for New Year’s Eve.

What you need
Clay in these colours
- Light brown
- Brown
- White
- Black
- Pink
- Sculpting tools from the kit
- An electric oven and baking paper. An adult does the baking.
Step by step

Roll a light brown ball.

Make the ball bumpy by gently pinching it.

Roll six small brown ovals for the raisins.

Press the raisins into the ball, spreading them out.

Pinch off really tiny white crumbs for the icing sugar.

Sprinkle the crumbs over the ball and gently press them on.

Press on two small black balls as eyes and a thin black strand as a mouth.

Press two small pink balls flat as cheeks. Done!
Tip
Bumpy is good here: a real oliebol isn’t smooth either.
An adult does the baking
- 110–130 °C, never higher
- 10–15 minutes per 6 mm of thickness
- Electric oven only
