- An electric oven and baking paper. An adult does the baking.
Step by step
Roll a grey egg shape for the body.
Press a flat white oval onto the front as the belly.
Roll a grey ball, a little wider than the body, and press it on top as the head.
Make two big round ears with a white circle inside and press them high on the sides.
Press a big black oval nose in the middle of the face.
Press black eyes and pink cheeks in place.
Make a flat green leaf and hold it against the belly with two short arms.
Press two flat grey feet at the bottom. Done!
Tip
The big nose makes the koala: make it bigger than you think, taller than it is wide.
An adult does the baking
- 110–130 °C, never higher
- 10–15 minutes per 6 mm of thickness
- Electric oven only
- Let it cool completely; attach cords and beads only after that
