How to make a polymer clay banana

What you need
Clay in these colours
- Yellow
- Brown
- Green
- Black
- White
- Pink
- Sculpting tools from the kit
- An electric oven and baking paper. An adult does the baking.
Step by step

Roll a yellow ball and roll it out into a sausage.

Bend the sausage into a banana shape.

Roll two small brown balls.

Press a brown tip in place at each end.

Press a small green piece under one brown tip: that’s the stalk.

Roll two small black balls for the eyes.

Press the eyes onto the banana and press a tiny white dot onto each eye.

Add pink cheeks and a black mouth. Done!
Tip
Make the ends a little thinner than the middle, so it looks more real.
An adult does the baking
- 110–130 °C, never higher
- 10–15 minutes per 6 mm of thickness
- Electric oven only
