How to make a polymer clay hot chocolate mug

What you need
Clay in these colours
- Red
- Brown
- White
- Black
- Pink
- Sculpting tools from the kit
- An electric oven and baking paper. An adult does the baking.
Step by step

Roll a thick red roll and flatten the top and bottom: that's the mug.

Press a flat brown circle on top as the hot chocolate.

Bend a thick red roll into a handle and press it onto the side.

Swirl a white strand upwards on the hot chocolate as whipped cream.

Press black eyes, a smiling mouth and pink cheeks onto the mug.

Put a small red ball on top as a cherry. Done!
Tip
Swirl the whipped cream upwards like a snail shell: start wide and finish with a point.
An adult does the baking
- 110–130 °C, never higher
- 10–15 minutes per 6 mm of thickness
- Electric oven only
- Let it cool completely; attach cords and beads only after that
