How to make a polymer clay croissant
A cheerful little croissant with a smiling face, for breakfast.

What you need
Clay in these colours
- Light brown
- Black
- White
- Pink
- Sculpting tools from the kit
- An electric oven and baking paper. An adult does the baking.
Step by step

Roll a long, thick light brown sausage.

Bend the sausage into an arch with the points facing down.

Roll two short, thick sausages.

Press the sausages over the arch on the left and right.

Make a thick little block with rounded corners for the middle.

Press the block in place in the middle of the arch.

Make black eyes with a white dot, pink cheeks and a black mouth.

Press the face onto the block. Done!
Tip
Scratch a few more lines into it with the cutting tool, and it will look like real puff pastry.
An adult does the baking
- 110–130 °C, never higher
- 10–15 minutes per 6 mm of thickness
- Electric oven only
