How to make a polymer clay rainbow with clouds

What you need
Clay in these colours
- Red
- Orange
- Yellow
- Green
- Blue
- Purple
- White
- Black
- Pink
- Sculpting tools from the kit
- An electric oven and baking paper. An adult does the baking.
Step by step
Roll six strands of the same thickness: red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple.
Bend the purple strand into an arch and lay the blue one around it.
Lay the green and the yellow strands around it as arches.
Lay the orange and the red strands around it and gently press everything in place.
Cut the ends straight with the cutting tool.
Press small white balls together to make two puffy little clouds.
Press the clouds in place over the ends of the arch.
Press black eyes, a black mouth and pink cheeks onto the clouds. Done!
Tip
Start with the innermost arch (purple) and work outwards.
An adult does the baking
- 110–130 °C, never higher
- 10–15 minutes per 6 mm of thickness
- Electric oven only
