What you need

- An electric oven and baking paper. An adult does the baking.
Step by step
Roll a black egg shape for the body.
Roll a white ball and press it flat into an oval.
Press the white oval onto the front as the belly.
Press two flat black teardrops onto the sides as flippers.
Make two orange feet with three toes and press them in place underneath.
Press two white circles, each with a black dot, in place as eyes.
Press a small orange beak between the eyes and scratch a small line into it.
Press two pink cheeks in place. Done!
Tip
Black clay rubs off easily: wash your hands before you make the white belly.
An adult does the baking
- 110–130 °C, never higher
- 10–15 minutes per 6 mm of thickness
- Electric oven only
